Dr. Caryn Nahum
Dr. Caryn Nahum brings an attuned, empathic, and collaborative approach to therapy, grounded in attachment theory. She creates a safe space to explore relationship styles, helping individuals work through anxiety or avoidance, understand how past patterns shape current dynamics, and build the confidence to assert their needs and desires.
Dr. Nahum works with individuals across the lifespan—including children, adolescents, young adults, women, couples, and families:
Children & Teens: Drawing from her research in adolescent suicidality and mental health, she supports young people through depression, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and self-esteem building, while providing young children with practical coping skills to navigate fears and feel their best self.
Women’s Health: She skillfully supports women through life transitions and challenges, helping them reclaim their vitality, sense of purpose, and strength.
Couples & Faith-Integrated Therapy: Dr. Nahum welcomes spiritual and religious patients seeking to integrate their beliefs into therapy. She also helps couples—including those with differing levels of religious observance—communicate effectively, resolve conflict, and deepen connection.
Assessments: Additionally, Dr. Nahum conducts psychoeducational evaluations for children to identify unique strengths, learning styles, and areas where extra support can help them thrive.
